Kosher honey differs from the common honey in way of taking it from the plastic honey storage.
The bees, so-called workers are collecting pollen and nectar from the flowers or honeydew juice extracted by aphids. These natural substances are processed in digestive tract of the bees and later bees are storing it as outcome honey in to the plastic cells. The common way of receiving such a stored honey from plastic cells is by using centrifugal force of the honey extractor. However, in case of kosher honey we are using different way of taking honey from plastic cells by pressing.
Pressed kosher honey from Kysuce is received by following steps:
- cutting of the plastic cells including honey,
- cutting it in to small pieces
- smashing it by using of pressing device
Such a honey is not affected by honey extractor since it is not smashed in honey extractor.
